On May 29th, Melong Band along with dozens of other Tibetan musicians and groups preformed for the Tibetan Earthquake Relief Benefit Concert at the Armenian Church in NYC. The house was packed with hundreds of Tibetans and non-Tibetans standing attentively to support the people of Kyegundo in Tibet. Melong played several songs and was joined by the talented young Tibetan musician Tenzin Kunsel. Read Lhasa on Hudson’s post about the unforgettable concert. Over $25,000 was raised for relief efforts in Kyegundo.
